Hello Everyone!
My name is Emmily Mobley and I am a Senior at OSU majoring in Anthropology with a Biocultural option. I am particularly interested in studying Perinatal Health through the lens of Medical Anthropology. I grew up in Mount Holly, North Carolina and I'm currently living in the EST timezone. I have never taken a communication course specifically however I have taken linguistic anthropology which does do a deep dive into how we communicate. I appreciated learning about how different languages are organized but the minutia of grammar and language rules was a lot to understand in a short time frame. I primarily use Reddit, Facebook, Instagram, and email for online communication. My interesting fact is that I love practicing yoga, specifically Ashtanga, and watercoloring.
